    Unanswered: Force usage of temporary tablespace

    Hello everyone,

    I had two temporary tablespaces in database:

    Tablespace ID = 1
    Name = TEMPSPACE1
    Type = System managed space
    Contents = System Temporary data
    State = 0x0000
    Detailed explanation:
    Normal

    Tablespace ID = 6
    Name = TS_MP1TEMP
    Type = System managed space
    Contents = System Temporary data
    State = 0x0000
    Detailed explanation:
    Normal

    I created one more temporary tablespace with corrected EXTENTSIZE value to reflect my storage configuration. However DB2 does not use it, how can I force its' usage?

    Deployment: Db2 v10.1Fp2 purescale on RHEL6.3

    Get rid of the other ones...

    There is no way to "force" DB2 to use a temporary space, unless there is only one to use.
