    That "pls" you've mentioned, does it stand for the polynomial local search, primary lateral sclerosis, or something else?

    It's the Oracle syntax for outer joins. u wlkm.

    Thanks. I don't think I've ever seen a query with this weird syntax. Thx to Oracle compatibility... it's accepted in DB2.
