Unanswered: a way to limit the growth of a .LRG file

    Hi all,
    I'm using DB2 10.1 on Linux.

In my environment a Container file is growing too much (it's around 100 GB now) and it's filling the file system.

How can I check there's nothing more than actual data in the container, and its size is correct?
How could I control the growing of this file, keeping it at the minimum?

a container belongs to a specific tablespace
check in catalog which table is using this ts
check with list tablespace or any other if free space
if it is growing - you are inserting data
