    Unanswered: Related to performance monitoring statistics

    Dear All,

    I am getting the output of the following as "not collected"

    Database files closed = Not Collected

    Which parameter do I need to set to collect the output of the same.

    Hi,

    This depends on a monitoring function and a snapshot level which you use.
    According to the description of the
    files_closed monitor element, if you use 'MON_*' functions (available since DB2 9.7) you have to have MON_OBJ_METRICS db parameter set to BASE at least.
    If you use 'SNAP*' functions, you have to have DFT_MON_BUFPOOL dbm parameter set to ON.
    If you use 'get snapshot *' commands or corresponding snapshot API you have to have BUFFERPOOL monitor switch set to ON.
