    Unanswered: Learn DB2

    Hello All,

    I have been asked to learn DB2 as a part of new assignment
    I have been asked to learn :

    DB2
    UDB- AIX
    LUW

    Can anyone help me out and guide me about how to start learning DB2 and what the following mean:
    UDB- AIX
    LUW

    UDB stands for "Universal database". LUW is the abbreviation for "Linux, Unix, and Windows". Both refer to the version of DB2 for the so-called distributed platforms: Linux, Windows, and whatever flavours of Unix it supports. Essentially, DB2 for LUW is the modern moniker for what was known in the past as DB2 UDB.

    AIX is the Unix version developed and sold by IBM.
