Unanswered: Conditional Formatting for Detail Section 2010

    I have a continuous form
Client wants to "flag" certain colors for the background (detail section) of each row based on a drop down color selection

meaning there is a combo box (bound) to a field called Color_Code

The drop down has 3 colors - Red , yellow, green.
based on the color selection I would like to invoke the conditional formatting that what ever the combo box says I would like the detail section to be that color
    vbred
    vbyellow
    vbgreen

It's easy to use the conditional formatting for changing the formatting of one control based on that controls value or gotfocus - but I think I need to use the option "Is Expression" but I am missing something in the translation.

I am trying various versions of the following with no results:

    if me.color_code= 'Red' then Me.Section(acDetail).Backcolor = vbRed

Resoved - using my own innoavation

I created a text box that was the size of the detail section]

I set it to send to back
the control source was set to another fileds drop down'

the conditional formatting of the text box set the back co;or and font color to the same color giving the illusion my detail sectin was that color - great idea - works like a charm.
