Unanswered: Database engine could not lock table...

I just recently inherited the IT stuff at our company due to our IT guy quitting. But I know very very little about Access. So hopefully someone can help me.

I have this Access based program my company uses. Just recently we received some new Window 7 computers. I put this program onto those new computers and I receive a box saying the following

"The expression On Close you entered as the event property setting produced the following error: The database engine could not lock table 'dwgDataTemp' because it is already in use by another program"

The older computers, which are also Windows 7, have no problem running this, but the new ones we got do not work. This leads me to believe there could be a setting somewhere.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!!

    1. Check for missing references.
    2. Is the Access application split (Front-end/Back-end schema)?
    3. Are the users of the machines that cause problems administrators?
    4. In which folder(s) is (are) the file(s) stored?
    Have a nice day!

Problem solved. Had to give user rights to the program.
