sounds like an autoexec macro is running on startup
I'd suggest you open the MDB whilst holding down the shift key
    failign that
create a new mdb then import all the objects from your current mdb

    Question ms access

    hey there,
using the shift key its opening in the same mode. importing it into a new database is not allowed as the same is protected by password. the message displayed " microsoft helps protect the visual basics for applications project with a password. you must supply the password in the visual basic editorbefore you can perform this operation"

So either its not your mdb
    Or
It was developed by an ex employee or external organisation / contractor
If its an ex employee then you are probably stuffe
Id sggest you approach the original author(s)
