Unanswered: what is DEFINE equivalent of oracle SQL in DB2

what is DEFINE equivalent of oracle SQL in DB2? I am trying to predefined variable at the top of script and used throughout script. If I change variable value in one place, it should affect all the place. Are there any such statement in SQL that support on Db2?

DEFINE is not a part of the Oracle SQL dialect; it is a SQL*Plus command. DB2 LUW 9.7 and later offers a new command line processor clpplus, which is supports many SQL*Plus commands, including DEFINE.

IBM Data Studio plus CLP commands

Thanks for reply. I just wonder if it possible the 'CLP command' to work with Data Studio 3.2 cleint. It doesn't seems SQL and CLP command work together in IBM Data Studio. Do I need to configure or update software/tool? I expect SQl/SQL plus command to work similar to SQL developer tool.
