I'm new to VBA programing and was Wondering if you guys could help me on this, I'm looking to create a bit of code.

I'm working with some large data files (.tst's) with lots of test cases, the file is currently looks something like this

<teststock>
<info date="2013-10-24 10:39:49" type="Import from CSV (*.csv)">
<entry value="blah blah blah"/>
<entry value="yakety schmakety"/>
</info>
<testcase name="Albert">
<set value="50" name="Age"/>
<set value="M" name="Gender"/>
</testcase>
<testcase name="Benjamin">
<set value="30" name="Age"/>
<set value="M" name="Gender"/>
</testcase>
<testcase name="Cathy">
<set value="40" name="Age"/>
<set value="F" name="Gender"/>
</testcase>
</teststock>

- It Needs to be able to navigate to a folder location and find a file (.tst) from a list
- Open the file and pick out one specific test case given the test case name (will need a field to enter the case name)
- Write that one test case to a new tst in the same location with the test case name as the new filename (e.g. Cathy.tst) and retain the original formatting ie <teststock> and <info> sections.

So the output file should look something like this

<info date="2013-10-24 10:39:49" type="Import from CSV (*.csv)">
<entry value="blah blah blah"/>
<entry value="yakety schmakety"/>
</info>
<testcase name="Cathy">
<set value="40" name="Age"/>
<set value="F" name="Gender"/>
</testcase>
</teststock>


Any ideas would be much appreciated!
