    Unanswered: minus multiple fields expression

Hi Can someone advise how i can minus multiple fields from one field to get a total in access please?
    so far i have

    Total outstanding: [Amount outstanding]-[Amount received]-[Manually billed]-[Billed]

but this only calculates the amount outstanding -amount received...doesn't calculate the last 2 columns. I'm trying to create a calculated field 'total outstanding'

    Thanks in advance!

That should work. You may need to use the Nz() function around any field that might be Null.

Thats what I thought but its only minusing amount received from amount outstanding and doesn't recognise the manually billed or billed fields...i thought i may have to use comma's instead of separating the fields with - signs

check the data types, make certain all are numeric
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton
