You cannot restore a database to a previous release, only forward up to a max of two releases ahead.

Then how can i fallback from V 10.5 to 9.7 after an upgrade. After 15 days i realized that my ealier version 9.7 was working better.

How can i recover the work done in db in those 15 days.

I do have full backup of version 9.7 before upgrade.
    Can i apply logs generated in v 10.5 on v 9.7 ?

    Please suggest.

No, you cannot apply logs from a different version. You will have to use db2look to re-create the schema, and db2move to move the data. If the schema is unchanged (table, indexes, SP's, etc) then you can delete all the data in your 9.7 database and then just do db2move to move the data back to 9.7.
