    Unanswered: 'Enter Parameter Value' box help needed

    A few months ago our IT guy went to a different job. The programs he developed within Access I inherited. Unfortunately I know very little about Access and the db. I loaded the program to access the db onto a new machine and it gives me a 'Enter Parameter Value' box when I go into it. None of the existing machines get this or has the program changed. So it makes me to believe it's something with the machine itself. I was told to download snpview.exe but that didn't seem to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    That message normally appears when you run a query and the query parser cannot find a table /column or thinks you are requesting user input.

    so the first thign Id want to check is what query you are running
    what columns that query is trying to retrieve.

    My guess is that on installing the db there is either missing tables or soemthing that is explictily pointing to an invalid location... favourite for that is going to be a networdked drvie specified as a drive letter asd opposed to a fully formed URL:-
    //servername/path/to/file
    I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton
