    Unanswered: subreport with totals

Hi all; Using Access 2010. I have a report. I am trying to add a subreport with totals. The subreport has many records but I just want to show 10 records but the total for all. I tried to use top 10 in the query but this only gives me the total for the 10 records; not all. Any suggestions on how I can accomplish this please. Thanks

so place some code in the sub reports on print event that CANCELs printing of that row. atfer the 10th row is prionted. mnd you its an odd report that shows just 10 rows but sums accross other rows not displayed... it will certainly pee off accoiuntants who desire such order.

thank you for replying. I sort of understand what you're saying but don't know how to cancel a print of the remainder rows. Can you give me an idea how to do this please. Thank you

place some code in the reports ON PRINT event
settign CANCEL = TRUE means that row isn't printed
