    Unanswered: db2_v105 - how do I know values of IN/OUT parameters for Stored Procedures

    Hello,
    I'm on DB2 10.5 and ran called a Stored Procedure. However it is encountering a problem and someone is taking a look at it. I don't know which values are being passed in IN/OUT parameters for it. That person asked me to provide him with the "data"/"values" that are being passed. Would you know how I can get that from db2 perspective? Any db2pd commands etc that can help?

    I'll appreciate your help.
    Thank you

    Hi,

    You can create event monitor for activities which writes to tables and activate it.
    Then you can turn on the activity collection at the session level.
    -- turn on the info collection for some appl_handle (possibly from another session)
    CALL WLM_SET_CONN_ENV(appl_handle, '<collectactdata>WITH DETAILS, SECTION AND VALUES</collectactdata>');
    -- let your person run the code
    ...
    -- turn off the collection for this handle
    CALL WLM_SET_CONN_ENV(appl_handle, '<collectactdata>NONE</collectactdata>');
    -- flush the event monitor and look into the event monitor tables for the actual parameters values.
    Regards,
    Mark.
