    Unanswered: db2 code set change

    Hello all,

I am using Db2 9.7 on AIX. Planning to migrate to db2 10.5.

in v 9.7 i have db code set IBM-1252 but i want to change it to ITF-8 in v 10.5. Is there any way to change that while restoring/ upgrade db 9.7 to 10.5.

    please suggest.

    cheers..

as all dba know : when using utf.. 1 char can be more bytes and a char10 might not fit into char10 anymore..
if not familiar with this topic .. do some reading at..
    Unicode character encoding
