What happened before this error occurred? Did you restore master from an old backup that didn't include this info?

the server encountered unexpected shutdown before this error occured and one of the disk(RAID 1) of the server failed. is the error relating to sysusages of the device for dbid 8? so far, already tried single and bypass all databases and restore from previous master backup but still no luck upon booting into normal mode. any ideas on this matter. thank you for the replied.

I think you'll have to recreate the DB and load from last good backup.

do you think the event happened on db is more likely disk problem?

I guess this is what happened.

    1. Backup of master
    2. Auto grow of database 8 updates master..sysusages
    3. Failure of disk, assuming disk for db 8 still OK or restored from later backup than master.
    4. The master restored from backup now excludes the update to master..sysusages
