Question Unanswered: How to use Interval Functions???

Hi, I need to write a SELECT statement that uses INTERVAL FUNCTION to retrieve the number of days, hours, and seconds that have elapsed between 2 dates. Any idea on how to do this? I was trying to use the NUMTODSINTERVAL function but I've got some strange values like this "+000002080 22:59:02.000000000"

You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.
The average person thinks he's above average!
For most folks, they don't know, what they don't know.

    Which means:
2080 days, 22 hours, 59 minutes, 2 second and 0 fraction of seconds.
