Unanswered: Change the date of Server

    Hi everybody !

For tests, is it possible to change the date of the sybase server ?
    I suppose no.

    But just to be sure.

    Thanks for your help !

Certainly! Change the Operating System date/time of the machine running your SQL Server. In a short period of time (milliseconds to minutes, depending on configuration issues) the SQL Server time will adjust to match the Operating System time.

Yah. I supposed this possibility but in fact I want to change only the date of the sybase server.

I have for test a windows server with two sybase servers, one 11.9 and one 12.5. I want to change the date for only one sybase server. the 11.9.

Do you think it is possible ?

You could virtualize a machine to run the 11.9 server and reset that machine's date, but that seems like even more work to me.
