Unanswered: ErrorCode 23503 after migrating to another server
I have a web application running on an AIX server using DB2.
I have recently migrated the application to another server, but pointed the new application to the old DB.
After migrating, I usually get the error code 23503(The insert or update value of the FOREIGN KEY) when running the application from the new server, while the same operation on the old server's application executes successfully.
In addition to this, the migrated application performs the operation successfully sometimes after repeated operation.
I would appreciate if I could get any pointers as to what could be the possible cause of such an unpredictable behaviour.
as no info at all is presented about operation/platform/level/error code/message...
based on this sentence nobody can help you..

Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.
