    Question Unanswered: Range of Parameters

I make reports using a general ledger period and a year; separate fields. My periods are 1 to 12 and the year is a 4 digit number. I can make reports for 1 & 2013 to 5 & 2013 but I can't figure out how to make a report from 11 & 2012 to 4 2013.

In my parameter questions, I'd have to enter a range of periods 11 to 12 then a range a years 2012 to 2012...make a report, then enter a range of periods 1 to 5 and a range of years 2013 to 2013 and make another report, then export and manually merge them together in excel.

How can I make a parameter question to include two fields, period AND year. If not possible, what can I do?

I would use dates instead of years and months. Specifying a range using dates is natural, trying to do it with months and years is artificially difficult.

In theory, theory and practice are identical. In practice, theory and practice are unrelated.

I am pulling information from tables with an accounting period and a year, not always a date.
