Unanswered: Report column headings as row headings

I hope I can explain this well enough. Basically I need to report on a maximum of 6 comparisons. The selected comparisons are all separate queries that select a specific row in a table. I have created a UNION query to collate these comparisons into one query ("qryDataSet"). The problem I have is the data is a series of variables I want to compare, but the query has the variables as individual fields/columns. I need to report these as rows (see below)

    [qryDataSet] - current format
Comparison No, SplitTime, DropOff, AvgIn, AvgOut...(etc., there are 13 of these)
    1, 1.1, 2.1, ...
    2, 1.5, 3.2, ...
    3, 2.2, 10.0 ...

I need to report them as follows
    Variable, Comparison 1, Comparison 2, Comparison 3 ...
    SplitTime, 1.1, 1.5, 2.2 ...
    DropOff, 2.1, 3.2, 10.0 ...

I assuming I need to create a query that has [VariableName], [VariableValue], [ComparisonNo] as the columns and then use a cross-tab query? I am just not sure how (or if) to do that.

You could use your qryDataSet as the source and manipulate/write the data to the respective row and column in an array.

Save the array to a table then use the table as a the record source for your report.
