    Unanswered: Microsoft Access 2010 won't import .dbf file.

    My Microsoft Access 2010 (on Windows 8.1 64 bit Windows) won't import .dbf files. Does anyome know what the cause of this is?

    when you say 'won't import .dbf files' what do you mean tries and fails cannot find a way of doing it
    there is some active block

    bear in mind dbf is a very old format, it started to die out with the introduction of Windows 3, although through the various xbase implementatiosn such as visual foxpro, although that ceased to be devloped in 2007, but will be supported until 2015 at the earliest

    what you may have to do is set up an ODBC connection to the dbf
    I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton
