    Unanswered: Migrate from SQL 2005 to SQL 2008 or 2012

    Hello this is a silly question but I was able to copy our old database to another hard drive and do an attach to sql 2012 and it worked great now am I crazy or is this too good to be true??

    Hi Pat how are you? I need to find the Business Intelligence Studio so I can create reports and deploy them to users. Hmm???

    In your Start Menu use the SQL Server Data Tools.

    I might also check the compatibility level of the DB you attached. Just a hunch.
