Unanswered: How to Pass Input parameter as CURSOR to DB2 Stored Procedure?

    Hi All,

We have situation, where I have to catch result set which will be coming from Webservices to DB2 procedure.

So Is there any way/method to catch this result set at DB side.

To achieve this we created a stored procedure using cursor as input parameter(Ex: xmlupdate(INXML); where INXML is a cursor type parameter). Which got complied and created successfully. To execute above procedure we have created another wrapper procedure(test_call()) in which we are calling to above xmlupdate procedure. But which we are unable to compile it and giving error 'Lookup Error - DB2 Database Error: ERROR [42703] [IBM][DB2/AIX64] SQL0206N "INXML" is not valid in the context where it is used'.

Please guide us on the same.

Looking forward to your early responses. Thank you.

The error is clearly on line 17.

"It does not work" is not a valid problem statement.
