    Unanswered: Extracting Table Definition/Schema

    DDLGEN is giving this error...

error occured during initialization of VM.
couldn't reserve enough space for object heap.

Please help me to get the Schema of tables. (under sybase ase 12.5)
Will a table definition reside under a system table?
    If yes,
How can we extract that Table Definition?

Definition scripts are not stored in any table (at least not ready to use).
Maybe you can try to troubleshoot the error? Googling the error gives a hit that looks promising: StackOverflow

    Hi,

I use to use the procedure spi_ddltable (cf. file). From an original procedure of the great client ASEISQL (ASE Isql: Sybase ASE isql (SQL Advantage replacement)), I changed somes things for my personal needs (english comments not from me, french from me ).

    Maybe it can help you.

May be u can use sp_ddlgen inside from Sybase prompt, but as far as I remember, it works for whole database ddlgen, else u can use powerbuilder for genrating DDL for any particular object.
