    Unanswered: Filtering Issue

    Hi All,

I have a spreadsheet with several columns, and about 5000 rows of data. One of the columns is called Work Code, and contain 1 of the 10000 plus codes used for this column. I have another spreadsheet with about 500 specific work codes.

I need to filter my spreadsheet to return only rows that have 1 or the 500 specific work codes on the separate spreadsheet.

I haven' done this in a while. I thought I used to to this by setting a criteria with a combo box...but all this does is create a drop box on each row with the 500 specific codes...

    any help is greatly appreciated.

You keep referring to 'spreadsheets;' is this an Excel app you're talking about or an Access database, which is the purpose of this forum? And if the latter, are the spreadsheets linked or embedded in the database?
