    Unanswered: Workbench diagram example

I'm trying to figure out how I would model a UML diagram (using workbench) from a past exam paper. Here is the original question:

My initial intuition was to create a one-to-many relationship between player and match and player and training session, like this:

I then realised that this doesn't really allow me to put stats for what a single player does in a match. I thought about trying it with a one to many relationship between player and match to accomplish this, but that would end up with duplicate matches which seems like bad practice to me. Do I need to work in some other form of table to account for an individual player's statistics in a single match?

I haven't been doing databases for long (and mySQL in particular), so I could use some help with understanding this. Thanks!
