    Unanswered: GET Snapshot for dynamic sql

    Plase assist.

    DB2 9.7 FP 3a /Windows 2008 R2

    I am trying to take a snapshot for Dynamic sql statement. All monitor switches are ON in Insance level.
    Also, i have reset all monitor switches to clear the buffer. But when I do the

    db2 get snapshot for dynamic sql on SAMPLE, it brings up old historic dynamic sql statements. How can I get the current statements only?

    Also, I have done the db2stop/db2start, but still i can see the old sql.

    Rarther than using Snapshot, anyother way to capture statements?

    the statement cache keeps all data untill purged
    if only current/running sql is needed : execute list applications - take the agentid and run
    get snapshot for application agentid xx

    Use IBM supplied procedure monreport.currentsql. Check link IBM DB2 9.7 for Linux, UNIX and Windows Information Center
