    Unanswered: 2 tables

    I'd like to have some of the data collected in one table automatically entered into another table. I only want to enter certain fields. So something like

    Table 1 Table 2
    Field A Field A
    Field B Field C
    Field C Field E
    Field D
    Field E

    Not sure if this explains what I want to do. Hopefully you can understand what I'm trying to do. If not let me know and I'll try to explain better.

    I think the first question, here, has to be why?

    The only time a single piece of data should be stored in multiple tables is when it is being used to link those tables, as in the Master Fields/Child Fields in a main form/subform scenario, and that doesn't sound like the situation you're describing here.
