    Unanswered: package not found..

    Dear forum members,

While executing a select query through jsp page, My development environment v 10.1 on RHEL 5 is throwing error as below:

    com.ibm.db2.jcc.am.SqlException: DB2 SQL Error: SQLCODE=-805, SQLSTATE=51002, SQLERRMC=NULLID.SYSLH306 0X5359534C564C3031, DRIVER=4.16.53

while diagnosing i found that package NULLID.SYSLH306 is not there in my DB. My db has recently been upgraded from v 9.7.

    please help in this.

    thanks

    DECFLOAT error in package query

    Hello all,

Thanks alforing.. link provided alot of info.

    Now another issue has arised:

before bind clipkg to 15, i checked current value for this by

    select max(substr(pkgname, 7, 2)) + 1 from syscat.packages where pkgschema='NULLID' and pkgname like 'SYSLH2%'

    it comes to be 6.

    but after

db2 bind @db2cli.lst blocking all grant public clipkg 15

    the query
    select max(substr(pkgname, 7, 2)) + 1 from syscat.packages where pkgschema='NULLID' and pkgname like 'SYSLH2%'

is not working and giving error as below:

    1
    ------------------------------------------
SQL0420N Invalid character found in a character string argument of the
    function "DECFLOAT". SQLSTATE=22018

what the error is about ? i am not able to figure out the current value.

    Any sugessions please.

    regards
    Sumit

    substr(pkgname, 7, 2) is not returning a number.
