    Unanswered: Add default outlook signature line to email

    Hello everyone!

    Have the following code to automatically send out emails but for some reason it drops off my signature line. Any ideas? Thanks!

    Public Function SendEmail_CensusLoad()
        Dim strEmailTo As String
        Dim strEmailCC As String
        Dim strSubject As String
        Dim strHTMLbody As String
        Dim strFile As String
        Dim blnOK As Boolean
        Dim strFilePath As String
        strFilePath = "\\\files\Data\Univers\SessionData\2014\Troon_Golf_2014\Technology\2 PreEnroll\2 Client Final Data\Troon_Golf_WS_Census_" & Format(Date, "yyyymmdd") & ".xls"
        strEmailTo = ""
        strSubject = "Census loaded"
        strHTMLbody = "Worksheet census is also ready:<BR><BR>" & _
            "<a href=""" & strFilePath & """>" & strFilePath & "</a > "
       blnOK = SendEmail(strEmailTo, strEmailCC, strSubject, strHTMLbody, "", False, "Y")
    End Function

    The "signature line" doesn't exist at the SMTP level and rarely exists at the email server level, it is an artifact of the email client. When you generate an email using script, your script must generate the signature line for you.

    In theory, theory and practice are identical. In practice, theory and practice are unrelated.
