    Unanswered: Help with RecordSource

    I need help with RecordSource. I have an Unbound form that I want to have multiple RecordSources (not at the same time). I would pick one somehow(the form is a data entry form) and whatever RecordSource I pick is what would get updated from the data entry. Is this even possible? Can someone help me?

    Somewhere in the class module of the form:
    Me.RecordSource = <New RecordSource>
    Or in any module in the project:
    Forms("<FormName>").RecordSource = <New RecordSource>
    <New RecordSource> is the name of the new RecordSource for the form or a string containing a SELECT query.
    <FormName> is the name of the form the RecordSource property of which you want to change.
    Have a nice day!

    First off, an Unbound Form has no Record Sources; that's what makes it 'Unbound!'

    Do all of these Record Sources have identical Fields?

    If not, how can a single Form be appropriate?

    If so, your database has to be non-normalized, which is a real problem and needs to be corrected.

    Hope this helps!

    The problem with making anything that fools are so darn ingenious!
