Converting sqlite DDL to 2NF, 3NF

    Hello,
I am looking a way to convert an sqlite database DDL to 2NF and 3NF. Does any body here know a script/tool or a java code to do this. Thank you.

ive yet to see any tool that can automatically take a schema or existing database to 3NF or better. there are severql tools that may help you reverse engineer the exisitng db and allow you to refine your design, but Im not aware of any that do so, perahsp a google search will help you

Yes, I have been using dbvisualizer to have an ER Diagram shown. But my database contains around 40tables that I need to convert into 2nf or 3nf. Its difficult to design it manually. And I will be making changes to the actual source database quiet often. I am working on checking the performance in the two normal forms everytime I make a change in the actual database.
