Unanswered: How To Read Values from a ListBox

    Hi There,

I am just trying to link a command to a List Box Value.

For instance, if the Article requires an Inventar Number A Message Box should pop up and remind me that.

But, whatever I do, does not work.

    Any Ideas...

    If InInventar = True Then

MsgBox "Please this article needs an inventar number"

    Else

    Exit Sub

    End If

if all prodcuts must have a inventar number then
    1) place a not null cpnstraint / requirement on the column in the table.... you will need to make certain your data already meets that requirement

    2) in the forms BEFORE update event place some code which validates the inventar number is there, and if not CANCEL's the update process
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton

How To Read Values from a List box

    Hi,

thanks for your reply. Only some products need an inventar number.. As you can see it from the tbl_Artikel, only Drucker, Fernsehr and Monitor 22" need an Inventar Number... just an example.

In the Form frm_Ausgang, this is well recognized, but once I want to use this value, it does not work.
