    Unanswered: db2 clustering

    Hi Everyone,

    I am new to db2 clustering.


    When i am trying to add the database to the second node, i am getting below error.

    C:\Windows\system32>db2iclus add /iB2HA /m:<remote machine name> /u:<username>
    Enter current password for <username>:

    DBI1918N An error occurred when accessing the Windows registry.

    Explanation:

    DB2 encountered an error when attempting to read or update the Windows
    registry of the target machine.

    User response:

    Ensure that the current logon user account has sufficient authority to
    access the Windows registry of the target machine. If you already have a
    clustered instance, ensure the cluster service is started. If the
    problem persists, contact your IBM service representative for
    assistance.
