Unanswered: Formula Assistance (or maybe look-up)?

    Hi board!

Can someone explains something in excel for me?

I'm working on a sales quotation format that has all the pricing in the background. Inputs some information via numerical input, other choices are selected from drop down menus. I've managed to get most of the "IF" formulas correct, however there is one cell I am stumped with. What needs to be displayed is the result of 2 drop down menus.

based on my little table attached, if I have selected "50 Kg" from one drop down menu, and "Singapore" from the other one, I would want the cell that I am working on to know it should display "110".

    Does this make sense?

    Hi

I think this should do it
    Code:
    =VLOOKUP(B9,A2:E5,MATCH(C8,A1:E1,0),FALSE)
    Where B9 = 50 kg and C8 = Singapore.

I'll let you work out the rest !!?

Thanks Mike. I got a slightly different solution elsewhere that worked, ignoring the table I posted since I only created that to demonstrate my problem, what was provided to me was a INDEX and MATCH SOLUTION.

    =INDEX(Sheet2!D17:H20,MATCH(Sheet1!D10,Sheet2!C17: C20,0),MATCH(Sheet1!D9,Sheet2!D16:H16,0))
