    Question Database help

    Hi all,

    I am totally new to database design so apologies if I ask 'stupid' questions...

    The purpose of the database is to connect the names and addresses of people with the amount they have donated (20-50, 50-100 etc) so that a pre prepared letter can be automatically assigned to them.

    Does anyone have any advice on how to do this... what programme/format is best to use etc?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    You probably just need to use Microsoft Word's Mail Merge feature:
    Word mail merge: A walk through the process - Word -

    Your source data can be from a database (MS Access), or a spreadsheet, or even your Outlook contacts list.
    If it's not practically useful, then it's practically useless.
