    Cool Unanswered: SOLVED: How to extract data from (CLOB 124 Bytes) data type

    Hi All,

    I have a Oracle 11g database that has a table with a (CLOB) data type, that's 124 bytes in size.

    Can I extract data from this CLOB datatype using a Select statement?

    The data appears to be in a fixed format similar to the following. Not sure if this can be extracted using a select statement. Otherwise I will have to use .NET code.

    ERROR: BTAT Call Report failed to print for Order/9202032577/820004504034/73263905/\\canps04\canRCH14/Error running report

    use SUBSTR() function
