I am finding following error in our db2diag.log file.
    OS : Linux
    DB2 level : v9.5, FP 3a
[ due to restrictions I am only posting error part of diag log ]

FUNCTION: DB2 UDB, bsu security, sqlexGetDefaultLoginContext, probe:150

the DB2 security plug-in API "db2secGetDefaultLoginContext" with the

hmmm, "invalid credentials", check the userid and password combinations being passed to the ldap server...

But I have checked that we don't have any issue there...
Our user is able to connect successfully with the database.

look more carefully at the diagnostics, if necessary increasing diaglevel to 4 *temporarily* , to see if the messages show *which account* is having the issue. If it was a one-time non recurring error then is there anything to worry about. Otherwise if it is repeating symptom you will need to discover which credentials are invalid, there may be some application-user (non-human) or service-account whose password has expired etc, or something more interesting.

There are not enough facts in your posts to give meaningful assistance.
If you are so sure that you checked everything and nobody can do better than you, why don't you either open a PMR, or get the ldap people to trace its activities, or perform meaningul eliminations to arrive at a conclusion...

db2mor please don't take my statement personally. But anyways my statement hurts you then sorry for that.
Now let me come to the point ... Raising PMR will take long process in this environment. My objective is to post this error message in the forum so that if anyone faced same error codes bind failed rc=49, ADM13001E Plug-in "IBMLDAPauthclient" received error code "-16" then can help me with solution.

Anyways I am on the way to raising PMR for this.
