We upgraded from Word Perfect 2000 that had Paradox 9 to Word Perfect Office X6 that has Paradox 11. I have zero knowledge when it comes to Paradox as this call entry database was created before my time here, but I have always seemed to be able to muddle through it.
I got our current tables, forms, and reports to open in the new version. In the prior version, we used a form called CallEntry to enter customer information as they called in. The form was designed with a push button that says Print Report. It would then open up another window where you would F9 and enter the Call# (record number) and it would print the information for that one record to a neat little report. Now in the new version, when you click the Print Report button, that window does not come up to select a record # and it opens a report that has two random records on the one page. Is there a way to fix this? I am using Paradox on Windows XP and Windows 7, both Professional versions.
second.. sounds like the report itself (the form, the code, etc) is gone and/or not being aliased correctly, or something like that.. but again, go to the newsgroup, I'm the only one who monitors this forum
