Unanswered: How to use Macros to send emails In Access 2010

    Hi

I am trying to send an email, if a certain condition is met in my main table.

However when I create the macro, and run it, it fails to find the actual main table, in which the condition will reside.

[Decommissions]![Direct]= "yes" for example, returns "Access cannot find the name Decommissions you entered in the expression"

If I change it to another table, I get the same thing. What am I doing wrong?

when using a domain function the criteria, the third parameter, must be in the same query/table as specified in the domain, the second parameter.
so there is no need to specify the table
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton

    HI

Thanks for that. I removed the reference to table but the same thing happens.

It seems to fail at the very first step no matter which table I put in there. I have Access 2010 loaded - do I need any other frameworks, like VB or anything like that?
