Unanswered: To create user with equal rights of instance

    Hi all,
i want to create one user at database level which is identical to instance user for both windows and AIX , i am following below procedure please let me know if i am missing anything.

    For Aix,
    1) create user at OS level
    2)adding user to SYSADM_GROUP

    for windows,

    1)create user at OS level
    2)add user to DB2ADMNS

Apart from above steps , is needed to add following lines to .profile of new user??

    # The following three lines have been added by UDB DB2.
    if [ -f /home/db2inst1/sqllib/db2profile ]; then
    . /home/db2inst1/sqllib/db2profile
    fi

if you logon with this user in unix - always create a user instance - do not execute the profile of another user...
