    Unanswered: DB2 connection error

    Hi All,
    I have installed the DB2 v8.1.7.445 on my windows7 machine.
    My DB2 services is in running state on my machine through local System user.

    I have created a new dabasource name WBRKLKUP and when i was trying to connect to this datasource by my username/password credential then it is not connected and showing the error as in the attachment.

    I have checked the db2diag.log file and error message is showing as mentioned below:

    I have done a great effort in googling for rectify this issue but not successed.

    are you in a specific group ? sysadm ,other...??
    try to connect locally from command window with authorized user;;
    have a look at some basic concepts about authorization...

    My usename "americas\rakesh_kumar_chouhan" added in two groups "DB2ADMNS" and "DB2USERS"

    When i have tried to coonect to database through command window then it is not showing any error not even in db2diag.log

    C:\Program Files\IBM\SQLLIB\BIN>db2 connect to WBRKLKUP user americas\rakesh_kumar_chouhan using $Dell2014

    Database Connection Information

    Database server = DB2/NT 8.2.0
    SQL authorization ID = RAKESH_K...
    Local database alias = WBRKLKUP


    But when i have again tried to connect to same database(WBRKLKUP) using same useid and password through ODBC Data Source Administrator
    then it is showing error as in the attachment and now db2diag.log has also updated at below:
