Lightbulb Unanswered: Finding out which user has fired any DML Command for LUW

    Hi Guys,

I am new to DB2. So a very basic question. I want to find out which/when user has fired any DML command on LUW. As far as i have seen, db2diag does not provide any info about the who has executed which DML command. Only when there is a Lock Escalation it tells which query was fired.

    Thanks in Advance.

Read about db2 audit, read about event monitors for statements etc.

Trace SQL Statements using Event monitors . Read this for a set up steps - Trace sql statements in DB2 database - DBA DB2

It is possible , depending on how the application authenticates, that you may not find which individiual is connecting - as the authentication may happen at the application level , and just a generic logon is used at the DB2 level
