    Unanswered: Date DateTime Field Format

At the design level of Table fields in MS SQL where the Data Type is Date or DateTime, is there any way I can change the Column Properties to set the output format to DD/MMM/YYYY?

Formatting is done in your presentation layer (e.g. webpage, report, application, etc).

Data types do not have formatting options.

Thanks, I thought that was probably the case.

The only display format in ANSI/ISO Standard SQL is ISO-8601 (yyyy-mm-dd HH:MMS) This what you get from the DATE, TIME and DATETIME2(n) data types. I assume you have stopped using the old Sybase proprietary DATETIME and SMALLDATETIME types by now.
