    Unanswered: Help with coding a reminder message

    Hello,

    Can someone please help me modify the following code? I am trying to update a form from a tool that I adopted.

    I have a combo box called “Issue Category” and in that list there are various items. One of the items listed is “Other”. When the user selects the item “Other”, I would like a message to appear with something like this:

    "You have selected ""Other"" in the Issue Category combo box. Please enter the Other Category in the Category (Other) text box."

    [BEGIN CODE]
    Private Sub OtherCatOption1_AfterUpdate()

    Select Case Me!OtherCatOption1
    Case True
    Me!Issue_Catagory_Other = ""
    Case False
    Me!Issue_Catagory_Other = Null
    End Select

    End If

    End Sub
    [END CODE]

    Code:
    if mycombobox.text = 'Other' then
      msgbox "You have selected ""Other"" in the Issue Category combo box. Please enter the Other Category in the Category (Other) text box.", vbinformation
    'else  'else nothing further require
    endif
    or just do the job
    Code:
    if mycombobox.text = 'Other' then
      mytextbox.text = "Other"
    else
      mytextbox.text = ""
    endif
    I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton
