Unhappy Unanswered: Form and Report based on same query however ID shows up differntly

My problem is I have a query on which my form and report is based. I have made my ID in query as Ascending However it shows up jumbled in report and Ascending in form. I want it to be ascending at both places

Use the OrderBy and OrderByOn properties of the report.

so check where you have defined or used 'ascending'

this error message indicates that the SQL engine doesn't know ascending, and assumes its a parameter

so it indicates that you have (probably) used ascending in the wrong place in your query definition.. check the query, if you can't spot it then post the query here (that means post the actual SQL NOT the query design here)
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton

It's the name of the ID column that you must use in the OrderBy property of the report.
