I have standard_conforming_strings set to off because I am inserting username with the domain names (example\user1).. When I use an insert query to insert into a table like:

INSERT into users(User_Id, User_Name,User_Password,First_Name,Last_name) values (1, '\\user1', 'FName', 'LName');

It adds one backslash to the username in the DB. the entry in the users table would say:
1,\user1, Fname, LName

however when a smiliar insert query is run using a stored procedure, I see both the back slashes in the DB..

Just wanted to check if there is any special tretement given to stored proc's for non standard confirming strings?
