Unanswered: Receiving exception when using Sql Server XA datasource

I am trying to use the Sql Server XA datasource, and I am getting the following exception on my db, has anyone seen this error before or can stare me in correct path to address it?

    the clue is out there
avax.transaction.xa.XAException: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: Could not find stored procedure 'master..xp_sqljdbc_xa_start'.
..you are trying to reference a stroered procedure that SQL server cannot find. now as to why that is I dunno
it could be you've mistyped it
it could be it doesn't exist in any shape or form
it could be a permissions issue (but Id expect a different message)
it could be SQL server couldn't find the SP because you've not specified the right db
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton

There's a SQL script that needs to be run on the Database server to add the extended stored procedures for XA transactions. Google around a bit for Install XA, and similar things, and you should hit it eventually.

Have I mentioned how much I hate Java?

Yeah, I think I have to learn Hadoop this year for my next project. Kind of dreading it. It looks like all Java.
“If one brings so much courage to this world the world has to kill them or break them, so of course it kills them. The world breaks every one and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry.” Earnest Hemingway, A Farewell To Arms.

Yeah I'm no fan either. I use to code in it when I did front-end work.

But yeah I pretty much had to change some setting on the server side and create those stored sprocs from the .dlls. I'm waiting on the java developer to let me know if that solved his problem.

    Thanks for all the responses.

Have you enabled XA transactions? and completed the registration process?
As part of the XA set up there is a line

    exec sp_addextendedproc 'xp_sqljdbc_xa_start', 'SQLJDBC_XA.dll'

    Enable XA transactions
